Digital flipbook - initial set up instructions

Should you wish to customise the flipbook settings, this should be done prior to uploading a PDF (for non AutoPubish users)  or before detecting links and creating manual links (for AutoPublish users).  As the link colours will be locked in.

Example of the default flipbook settings:

Background - Grey
Digital Links - Blue (these flash when the page loads)

Steps to update the flipbook settings

Step 1 - Go to the main settings page.

Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications

Step 3 - Select the publication name from the list.

Step 4 - Select the Defaults tab > Scroll down to Flipbook Settings:

Width & height

Leave blank if you publish a standard portrait publication.

If your publication is landscape, tabloid or square - add the dimensions in pixels.
Example a square publication 270 mm x 270 mm.  270 mm = 1040 pixels.
Enter the width as 2040 (equivalent of 2 pages wide) and the height as 1040.

Click here to access an online mm to pixel converter.

To have your favicon display in the browser tab when your flipbook is displayed.  Copy and paste the icon links in the header section of your website here.

For example: <link rel='shortcut icon' tupe='image/x-icon' href='https://www.magmanager.co.uk/favicon.ico'/>
Make sure they contain the full path including the website name.

Page sound

This is the page turning sound, when the toggle switch is green, the page turn sound is ON / when it's Grey the page sound turn is OFF.

Click to switch between dark and light navigation arrow on the flipbook pages.

Click to switch the position of the navigation arrows, they will appear either next to publication and at the edge of the screen.

To change from the default colour settings > Set the Background colour, Link background colour and Link border colour > Click the dropdown arrow > Select the colour > Use the slider to make the colour transparent > Click Choose.

By default the links will highlight when the page is opened, then disappear.  To keep links hightlighted turn this toggle switch on.

Apply colour settings to all publications

As the name suggests, turning this setting ON will apply the colour settings across all publications in your MagManager account.  The update is immediate as soon as the toggle is turned on, no need to save the page > You can still edit individual publication as required.
