What is two-step authentication
2 Step authentication also know as Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an identity and access management security method that requires two forms of identification to access resources and data. The first is your username and password and the second is a code sent to your email address or phone using Google Authenticator app.
To set up two-step authentication on your MagManager account you can either use your email to receive the 6 digit code or you will need to install the Google Authenticator app onto your mobile phone. Available on app store / google play.
Option 1 - Steps to setup two-step authentication - Using Google Authenticator App
Step 1 - Install the Google Authenticator app from the App Store or Google Play onto your mobile phone.
Step 2 - In MagManager Click on your Initials or Avatar - top right of navigation bar > Select My Details.
Step 3 - Under 2 Factor Auth > Select Use Google Authenticator from the dropdown menu.
Step 4 - In the Google Authenticator app > Click the multi coloured + sign > Either scan the QR Code displayed on screen or manually enter the set up key below the QR Code >
Step 5 - Enter the 6 digit code displayed in the authenticator app under MagManager (Your Name) into the verify field in MagManager and click Verify
Step 6 - Click Save.
Step 7 - Once set up, every time you login to MagManager, you will be asked to enter the 6 digit code from the Google Authenticator app > Enter the 6 digit code > Click Submit - MagManager will open as normal.
Option 2 - Steps to setup two-step authentication - Using Email
Step 1 - Click on your Initials or Avatar - top right of navigation bar > Select My Details.
Step 2 - Under 2 Factor Auth > Select Use Email from the drop-down menu.
Step 3 - Click Save.
Step 4 - Once set up, every time you login to MagManager, you will be asked to enter the 6 digit code which has been sent to your email account > Enter the 6 digit code > Click Submit - MagManager will open as normal.

How to turn off two-step authentication
Step 1 - Click on your Initials or Avatar - top right of navigation bar > Select My Details.
Step 2 - Under 2 Factor Auth > Select Off from the drop-down menu >
Step 3 - Click Save to update.
