Step 1 - To access iphone app go to the main settings page.

Step 2 - Under Admin > Select iphone, you will be prompted to visit the Apple App Store to download the MagManager app.

How to download the iphone app for MagManager

To download the app > Go to the Apple App Store > Search for MagManager.

Click on the Get icon to download the app to your phone > Once the app has downloaded go to the MagManager icon on your phone > Login as normal using your MagManager email and password.

 

Overview of the iphone app for MagManager

The iPhone app for MagManager lets you view your account on the go.

You can see your client list together with the daily activity such as bookings for each publication along with the total sales across the whole business.

Clients: displays a searchable list of your clients.

Sales: displays the total amount and a graphical view of sales made per publications in relation to your target.  A grand total across all publications is also included.

Activity: displays the user's name and a list of the bookings made, updated and deleted for the day.

Settings: allow you to your notification preferences such as sounds.  When a sale is made, you’ll get a ‘whoo hoo’ sound and a notification will appear on your phone screen.

 

How to making a booking on the iphone app

Select Clients > Select the client name > Select Bookings > Scroll to select the issue > Click the Plus sign top right of the screen  > Select the Publication > Select the Issue > Select the Advert Size > Click Book - the details will be displayed below, with the Booking Amount at the bottom > To add additional publications/issues > Select them as before  > Click book - they will be added to the list below, with the Booking Amount displayed at the bottom > Once all issues have been booked - Select Done top right of the screen > Click OK to finish or Click Send Email to send the booking confirmation (note there is no option to edit the booking confirmation template).

 

How to create a token for a new iPhone

If you get a new iPhone the original token will not work on the new phone.  The token needs to be deleted and a new one created.

Follow the 4 steps below:
1) In MagManager go to System Settings > Under Admin > Select iPhone > locate the user and click the red Delete button.
2) Uninstall the app on the iPhone
3) re-Install the app on the iPhone - run it and ALLOW it to send notifications.

4) In MagManager go to System Settings > Under Admin > Select iPhone > Check that a new token has appeared with today's date in created column.

 

How to send a message

In MagManager go to System Settings > Under Admin > Select iPhone > locate the user and click the blue Message button. 

Enter a title for your message, Enter the message, Choose the sound and click the green Send button.

The message will appear on the iphone screen of the user you send it to.
