If you have any problems with the Stripe integration, they will likely be covered in one of the sections below:

 

Q1 - Why is the Stripe pay button not appearing on an email invoice?

- Check the client details page.  If the payment method is set as Direct Debit the payment button will not appear.

- Check the invoice amount.  If you've set a a test invoice and the amount is £1 + VAT or less the payment button will not appear as Stripe will not process payments of less than £1.

 

Q2 - My client has paid by Stripe but the payment has not updated in MagManger?

- When your client clicks on the stripe payment link it attaches a unique stripe id to the invoice. If they click the payment link a second time, it attaches a new stripe id to the invoice.  If the client pays on the first link there would be no match as the stripe id was on the 2nd link. So there would be no paid notification in MagManager and no payment added to the invoice in MagManager.

 

Q3 - How do I change the Stripe account connected to MagManager?

Go to the main settings page > Under Accounts > Select Stripe > Overwrite the existing Public Key & Private Key data. Perform a test payment to confirm it's working as expected.

 

Q4 - How do I change the bank account the Stripe payments are allocated to in my accounts package?

Go to the main settings page > Under Accounts > Select Stripe > Select the correct account from the Payment Account drop-down menu.
