NOTE: If you have MagManager linked to an accounts package, you will need to add the payment details there. The invoice status will be updated to paid in MagManager through the account package API, once the invoice has been paid in full.
Steps to mark an invoice as paid (on the client record)
Step 1 - Select Clients on the top navigation bar > Click the client name to open the client record.
Step 2 - Select the Financial tab - then Invoices tab.
Step 3 - Locate the invoice > Click the red X in the Paid column.

Step 4 - Enter details of the payment into the Payment dialogue box. Set the payment date > Add a reference if required > Select the payment type from the drop-down box > By default, the full balance appears in the Amount box, but this can be overwritten > Click Save to finish.

Step 4a - Should you need to add split payments > Click on the green plus sign and additional line will appear to add the payment details.

Step 5 - Once the invoice is paid in full a green tick is displayed in the Paid column. If the invoice has been partially paid and a balance remains outstanding the red X will still be displayed in the Paid column.

Steps to mark an invoice as paid (on the invoicing screen)
Step 1 - Select Invoicing from top navigation bar.
Step 2 - Click the Invoiced tab > Click Invoices by Date tab.

Step 3 - Select the Publication & the invoiced in Month from the side bar and use either the Search box to find the client or the Invoice Search in the top navigation bar to find the invoice.
Step 4 - Locate the invoice and click the red X in the paid column
Step 5 - Enter details of the payment into the Payment dialogue box. Set the payment date > Add a reference if required > Select the payment type from the drop-down box > By default, the full balance appears in the Amount box, but this can be overwritten. Click Save to finish.

TIP: You can also view the details of a paid invoice when viewing a booking > Click on the credit card icon to open a ‘View Invoice’ dialogue box.
