How to add a publication

 

For Trial Users - During your 30 day trial of MagManager, you can add your own publication when prompted by clicking on the button at the very top of the screen.

 

 

Step 1 - To add a new publication: Select Settings >  Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.

A list of existing publications are displayed.

Step 2 - Click the green 'New Publication' Button.

Step 3 - The Add Publication dialogue box will open ready to enter the following information:

  • The publication name.
  • The publishing interval ie monthly, bi monthly etc.
  • The start year and month.
    (* For Weekly Publications the day field will also appear and ** for Bi-Weekly Publications  Start Day calendar will replace the day. month and year options - see examples below).
  • The number of pages in the publication including the front and back covers. 

Step 4 - Click Save the new publication will be set up and appear in your list of publications.

 

Example of weekly publishing intervals:

*When the publish interval is set to Weekly an additional field 'Day' is displayed.

Example of Bi-Weekly publishing intervals:

**When the publish interval is set to Bi-Weekly, the Day, Year & Month fields are replaced by a Start Day - Click to choose the start date from the calendar 

NOTE: The number of pages can be changed from issue to issue by adding or removing them from the flat plan.
