About sections
In MagManager, assigning Sections to your clients allows you to classify the type of business or organisation your clients belong to. It is also possible to set up Categories as sub-divisions of Sections. Setting up sections and categories make it possible to filter clients.
Each Section can be assigned a colour, which can optionally be used in the flat plan to let you quickly locate the bookings in that section. This is useful if you layout your flat plan based on sections, particularly if you group advertisers of the same type together in your publication.
Steps to show sections on the flat plan
Step 1 - Open the flat plan.
Step 2 - Turn on the toggle switch Show Sections, located in the top section of sidebar.
Step 3 - The bookings will now display the section colours, rather than the defeault artwork status colours.

Step 4 - To return to the default artwork status colours, turn off the Show Sections toggle switch.
How to show sections by default
Should you wish to have the section colours display on the flat plan by default, this can be turned on in System Defaults - How to configure the settings.
