Steps to upload a logo to a document template

Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.

Step 2 - Under Admin > Select Document Templates.

Step 3 - Select either System Documents or My Documents tab to locate the document you wish to add the logo to

Step 4 - Click the document name to open the editor.

Step 5 - Click the area of the document you wish to add the image to.

Step 6 - Click the Picture button on the editor tool bar.

Step 7 - Click Choose Files and select the image file on your computer and click open or enter the image URL and click Insert Image.

Step 8 - Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Tip - save images at the correct size before uploading

Images in MagManager email templates should be uploaded in their native size. Although the editor allows you to resize images to 25%, 50% etc in the preview, in real life the email may arrive with the logo the size you upload it - (this is down to how the receiving mail server handles images).

This means that if the image looks right in the document template without you resizing it, then it will be fine in the actual email.

We recommend images be less than 50kb in size.

Rule of thumb: resize a jpeg or png logo to be between 200 and 300px wide. If it is very long and thin it might be 300px, but usually 240px words well.
