Sending emails using MagManager

Booking Confirmations, Provisional Bookings, Proposals, Invoices, Mailshots etc

These emails are send via the MagManager mail server.

A record of emails sent this way will show up on the client timeline, and notifications (bell icon top right of the navigation bar) as well as on the Email Logs on the main settings page. (Mailshots do not appear in notifications).

Mailshots are sent from noreply@magmanagermailer.co.uk and booking confirmations, invoices etc are sent from noreply@magmanagernotifier.co.uk.  Despite the name clients can click reply and their message will come back into MagManager as described below:

When the client clicks reply, their reply comes back into the MagManager mail server and will also show up in:
1 - Notifications (Bell icon top right of the navigation bar).
2 - Timeline tab (On the clients page) - see note below.
3 - Personal email account - The MagManager mail server forwards a copy of the reply to the personal email account of the user who was logged into MagManager and sent the email.

The reply from the client will appear on the timeline, providing the client replies by clicking the reply button on the email and sends it from an email address on their client record.

If they reply from any other email address MagManager won’t be able to pick it up.  This can happen if the client forwards the email to someone else to respond to, or they reply to you from a different email address. (This can be resolved by adding the other email addresses as contacts on the client record).

If the email reply does not appear in your inbox, this is outside of MagManagers control. It's likely that your mail server is blocking it, this could be due to settings on your email account such spam filtering and security settings or domain name settings.

TIP - To avoid missing any emails always check Notifications (Bell icon top right of the navigation bar) and click through to the client timeline to see the message.

(Note: if you send a test email make sure the address you are sending it to is NOT already being used by a user as a MagManager login.)

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
System emails send via MagManager will display the from email address as eg Your Company Ltd via MagManager.
It is not possible to change the  ‘via MagManager’ on emails, as the email is being sent via the MagManager mail servers.
