How to add a note on the client record

Steps to add a new note

Step 1 - First, find the client by selecting Clients on the top navigation bar

Step 2 - Enter their name in the search box.

Step 3 - Click their name to open the client record. 

Step 4 - Select the Notes tab - any previous notes will be displayed in the list.

Step 5 - To add a new note, click on the green New Note button to the top right. 

Step 6 - Type the note into the notes text box.

Step 7 - To add an attachment, click Choose Attachment, select the file from your computer and click open.  You can upload a pdf, image or Word file to the note.  Any notes with attachments will display a paperclip along with a number to reflect the number of files attached.

Step 8 - Click Save.

 

Steps to edit a note

Step 1 - Select the Notes tab on the client record.

Step 2 - Locate the note in the list, click the edit icon to the far left of the note.

Step 3 - Update the text in the note text box.

Step 4 - Click Save.

 

Steps to view recently created notes

You can view a list of all the recently created notes, this is useful for part-time staff who need to catch up with what's been happening while they've been away.

Step 1 - Select Reports on the top navigation bar.

Step 2 - Under Customers > Select Recent Customer Notes.

Step 3 - Update the date in the Show All Notes Created Since field.

Step 4 - Click View Report

Step 5 - To download the report click the export icon and choose from the options available.
