How to add a post-it note to the client record

A ‘Post it’ note can be created on the client record as a visible reminder to yourself and your team. This note will remain visible until you remove it.  Post-it notes are not a permanent record, once deleted the action cannot be undone.  For a permanent record use Notes instead.

Steps to add a post-it note 

 

Step 1 - First, find the client by selecting Clients on the top navigation bar.

Step 2 - Enter their name in the search box.

Step 3 - Click their name to open the client record. 

Step 4 - Click the small black note/paper icon top right of the screen > a yellow post-it note will appear on screen type your message onto the note.

Step 5 - To increase the size or change the shape of the post-it note, hover over the right edge or bottom edge and drag to the required size.

Step 6 - To move the position of the post-it note > hover over the top of the post-it note until the cursor changes to the move icon (crossed arrows) > Click then drag and drop it to another part of the screen.

Step 6 - To minimise a note click the minus sign icon top left of the post-it note. This moves the post-it note to the bottom of the screen. > To bring it back up to view click the minus sign again.

Step 7 - Your post-it notes will appear in yellow. Notes created by another user will appear blue with their name at the bottom.

Note: Non admin users on the account, cannot move or edit notes created by other users

 

 

Steps to delete a post-it note

Step 1 - First, find the client by selecting Clients on the top navigation bar

Step 2 - Enter their name in the search box.

Step 3 - Click their name to open the client record. 

Step 4 - Click the 'x' icon top right of the post-it note and click delete to confirm.
