Custom tabs are user designed data fields and forms added to the client record to store extra information about the client. These tabs are used to record custom data, such as where a potential lead is already advertising.

Design your own custom tabs to store the data you require. These appear as extra tabs on the client record, as can be seen in the example below.
Steps to set up custom tabs
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Custom Tabs.
Step 3 - Click on the green New Tab button top-right of page - this will bring up the the custom tab page ready to edit.
Step 4 - In the example below we're adding a text area - Click on the Text Area from the right hand side and drag it over to the centre space.
Step 5 - Click on the edit icon circled above - this brings up the screen below - ready to edit the fields.
In the Tab Name field enter the name you wish to appear on the tab on the client page. In this example we've called it 'Extra Info'.

Step 1 - This is how the custom tab appears on the client page when you click on the Extra Info custom tab.
Step 3 - This example is a simple text box - Type any additional information into the text box and click Update to save the details.
Overview of the custom tab fields and how they appear in a custom tab
Multiple custom tabs can be created to suit your needs. Simply drag the option fields from the right hand side over into the main area and edit them as required. Multiple fields can be included in one custom tab.

Number fields:
You can set the min and max numbers available to choose. If the step field is set at 1, the number will go up by 1, if the step field is set to 5 the number will go up in 5's.
