The client timeline is a useful way of keeping track of your actions and communications with a client.
Steps to view the client timeline
Step 2 - Enter their name in the search box.
Step 3 - Click their name to open the client record.
Step 4 - Select Timeline tab.
Recorded in the timeline you will find:
- Updates to client details
- Details of bookings created, updated or deleted
- Details of invoices created and amended
- Details of emails sent from MagManager to the client
- Details of replies from the client (see note below)
- Details of any completed actions

Step 5 - Turn on the Show Actions Only toggle switch to display completed actions. (Open action can be found on the Actions tab).
Step 6 - Switch between list view and visualisation by clicking the View as Visualisation button, then click View as List to switch back.

Step 7 - Click any item on the timeline list, to expand the details. For example, you can see a copy of the sent email or details of the invoice created.

Step 7 - Where a booking has been updated, you will see a before and after screenshot - a useful way of keeping track.

Note: If a reply from a client does not appear on the client's timeline - check the following:
1 - Open the Clients screen and search for YOUR email address. If YOUR email address is listed under a client name you need to remove it.
2 - Check notifications (bell icon on the top navigation bar) for the client's reply. If it displays there, click on it and it will open the timeline of the client's record it has been added to.
Generally you'll find this is one of your test accounts with YOUR email address listed as a contact.
