In MagManager, ‘Actions’ are specific tasks with a due date that you can set for yourself or for your team.
When you use actions the first step is to select a contact type.

There are 5 contact types in MagManager by default. You can add your own or disable the defaults contact types to suit your own requirements.

How to add contact types
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Contact Types.

Step 3 - Click the green New Contact Type button.
Step 4 - The Manage Contact Type dialogue box will pop up > Add a name in the Title field.
Step 5 - The Sales Action tick box should be checked if you would like the contact type to be available in the Pipelines area of MagManager. If you do not need it to be available in Pipelines leave the box unchecked.
Step 5 - The Enabled tick box should be checked.
Step 6 - Select an Icon to represent the contact type.
Step 7 - Select a Colour to represent the contact type.
Step 6 - Click Save.

How to disable contact types
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Contact Types.
Step 3 - Click the Contact Type name.
Step 4 - Uncheck the Enabled check box.

Step 5 - Click Save.
Optional: contact reasons and outcomes
These add additional fields of information to the action. A reason for contacting the client and once the action is complete an outcome field. You can find out more about these in the link below:
