Users can add their own lead sources and these can be recorded on the details tab of the client record in MagManager.
Steps to create a lead source
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Lead Sources.

Step 3 - Click the green New Lead Source button.
Step 4 - The Manage Lead Source dialogue box will pop up > Add a name in the Title field.

Step 5 - The Enabled tick box should be checked.
Step 6 - Click Save.
Steps to add lead source sub categories
For a lead source such as referrals you can record a sub categories to record the individual referrer.
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Lead Sources.
Step 3 - Locate the lead source and click it's blue Sub Categories button.
Step 4 - The Manage Category dialogue box will pop up > Add a name in the Title field.

Step 5 - The Enabled tick box should be checked.
Step 6 - Click Save
Example of where to record the lead source
On the details tab of the client record, under Lead Source choose an option from the drop-down menu.

If the Lead Source has sub categories set up, an additional field will appear called Source Category, choose an option from the drop-down menu.
How to disable lead sources
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Lead Sources.
Step 3 - Click the Contact Type name.
Step 4 - Uncheck the Enabled check box.

Step 5 - Click Save.
How to disable lead source sub categories
Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.
Step 2 - Under Customers & Actions > Select Lead Sources.
Step 3 - Locate the lead source and click it's blue Sub Categories button.
Step 4 - Click the Sub Category name.
Step 4 - Uncheck the Enabled check box.

Step 5 - Click Save.
